Black Diamond Revolt Headlamp Review

Not very often does a piece of camping gear come along that really grabs our attention and makes us say…..We gotta have that! Well that is just what happened with the Black Diamond Revolt Headlamp. This thing is bad to the bone sweet!

Black Diamond ReVolt Headlamp

Here is why this bad boy has got us so pumped. First thing is you have 6 different modes you can choose from, Bright, Dim, Strobe, Red light, A Proximity mode and a Lock mode so it won’t turn on in your pack.

But that’s just the start! Not only does the Black Diamond Revolt Headlamp have multiple lighting options, it is also….get this….completely rechargeable through a USB cable, but you can also use traditional AAA batteries if you have no way of recharging. What’s the big deal with this, you probably won’t be around a USB port while camping……Watch this video below and see all of the options you have for charging this fine piece of engineering!

So…you see know why this Black Diamond ReVolt Headlamp caught our attention! So not only does it have 4 different color options (not that you can really see them at night), but it also utilizes strictly LED bulbs, and unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years, you know these things take about as much energy to run as a mouse would produce on a wheel……Basically your batteries are going to last more than just one or two nights!

Here’s another great video done by Backpacker Magazine that further shows off the Black Diamond ReVolt’s capabilities.

If you are in the market for a great headlamp….honestly this one is a no brainer. Get one, enjoy it, recharge it and enjoy it again. Look, we try to make it simple for you on HTCO….and this is about as simple as we can make it for you. You need this, get it here and go out and enjoy your time camping or hiking!

Do you already had the awesome experience of using the Black Diamond ReVolt Headlamp? Do you enjoy it as much as we do? Let us know in the comments below!
